CRA wins contract to operate, manage, and staff employee onsite wellness center.
Onsite employee wellness centers are rapidly expanding throughout the country for both commercial and government organizations. Not only does an onsite wellness center provide a uniquely competitive edge for the
employer, leading to employee retention, but it also provides cost and time savings for the employee.
On December 22, 2011, CRA was awarded a contract to provide onsite healthcare to Arlington County’s benefit eligible employees. The Wellness Center will be located in a County facility at 2100 Clarendon Blvd. in
Arlington. Services available to County employees include primary care services, acute care, prescription services, health coaching, preventive care and coordination with the County’s existing wellness services.
Arlington County has strategically joined countless organizations that have wisely realized that a healthy workforce is a more productive and less expensive workforce. This pioneering and well thought-out decision
was made to provide employees with convenient access to acute and preventative healthcare services, disease management, and wellness education. Providing these services onsite will encourage employees to adopt and
maintain a healthy lifestyle.
